Long ago, there lived a young little girl in a far away street in a city.
She’s pretty and dirty!! What??!! Yea, that’s right.
Pretty and dirty. Her face was pretty, yet dirty. Her hair was untidy. Her dress was too… same dirty.
Not so long back, there lived a not so young but grown up girl in a not so far away street in a city.
We don’t need more specifics than this. 🙂
A new teacher came by transfer.
Soon she found the little girl was nice.
Bright and hardworking. Good at her assignments. And.., very pretty and yet dirty. Her hair was untidy.
One day the teacher asked the little girl to wash her face before coming to school. So did the girl.
What happens next??
Teacher’s expectations raised. Asked for more..
Asked the little girl to wash her dress. Nope, no change !!
The little girl is in the same old unwashed dress, every single day.
Bright and hardworking. Good at her assignments. And.., very pretty and yet..??
The teacher didn’t give up. After a thought, she gifted a “New Blue Dress” to the lil’ girl.
The girl got excited and couldn’t wait till tomorrow to wear it.

Inspiration started spreading fast, like a virus !!
And has changed the scene of Gates Avenue. That’s called the Gates Avenue Cleanup.
No one including the teacher ever knew, this is what the future is going to be. It just happened ! I am truly inspired and never forgot this story!
