Poetry on Wildlife — An Attempt.
Eight (8) months ago, I have written a poetry and my friend suggested to put it on Medium. Hope you’ll like it.
Asked to write about: The poetry of the earth is never dead.
This is what I got. Toughest of all writings done!
✍The poetry of the earth is never dead
🦋Despite The Butterflies or the Dragonflies
🐻Despite the Giant Bears or the Polar Bears
🦁The Prairie Chicken or the African Lion
🐘Elephants.. their triumph stories to tell
🐧Penguins.. dance only in Happy Feet
🐆Leopards.. weren’t that wild, shepherds knew
🐦Little Sparrow.. soon to borrow from the other world
Flamingos.. bingo we did it
Polar Bear.. we couldn’t bear
Simple Bat? hit out of earth boundary with bat!
Just can’t live together, we see a pain
Few tigers.. Phew we hate
Oh whale.. we made you pale🐳
Guess a kid from future may ask..
‘Existence of God?’ like few of us today ask..
Despite Us killers murdering
Despite Us killers threatening
The Ones alive still trembling n trembling
Await their misfortune soon coming
And.. Inspire Us to write poems n anthems
And.. the poetry of the earth is never dead

⏰Time to awake from sleep called →→ ‘We own this earth, no-one else’
Lest.., the WILDLIFE may call us the WILDEST among everyone else..
Do you know why? before all of us are born, the Earth took a Millennium to kill an animal, unlike us taking many animals to extinction quickly.
